Last planner conference

Last Planner manages the relationships, conversations and commitments that together enable program & production planning decisions to be made collaboratively at the lowest possible level in a whole range of one-off production settings — software development, ship-building, yacht fit-out, Once the task is complete the last planner responsible declares completion so that site management or the next trade can assure themselves that it is complete to an appropriate standard. A key measure of the success of the Last Planner system is PPC. This measures the Percentage of Promises Completed on time. We created a six-week program titled Your First 30 Days on the Last Planner System. Every day for six weeks, project participants read a 3- minute lesson and discuss it with an LeanProject coach usually by phone or by video conference for about 15 – 20 minutes.
